COVID-19

Please see the information below about the precautions Skipped Parts, LLC is taking related to COVID-19.

We are aware of the Governor's decision to end the statewide mask mandate on 5/14/2021. Skipped Parts, LLC continues to require that staff and clients wear masks that cover their face and nose for any in-office appointments however, these are infrequent since we continue to provide the majority of our services via telehealth.

Safety Precautions

The safety of our clients and staff remain our top priority as we continue to navigate the current health crisis. Here are the precautions we are currently taking:

  • Treatment/Therapy clients:

    • We are providing all therapy/treatment sessions via telehealth.

    • We utilize Theranest or Google Meet for these sessions, both of which are privacy standard compliant platforms.

    • For clients who do not have access to the Internet, we are able to conduct phone sessions at this time.

    • There are times when some testing is necessary for treatment/therapy clients, in order for us to clarify treatment needs and responsivity factors. We are doing testing in Rochester and Brainerd only, since these offices are larger and can accommodate safe distancing. Staff and clients are required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth for the duration of these appointments. We have surface sanitizers and hand sanitizer available for use.

  • Assessment clients:

    • We are completing the bulk of our assessments (e.g. clinical interviews and testing) via telehealth or virtual test administration.

    • There are some testing measures that do not have virtual administration options. In these cases, we are conducting limited testing in office. As noted above, we are doing testing in Rochester and Brainerd only, since these offices are larger and can accommodate safe distancing. Staff and clients are required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth for the duration of these appointments. We have surface sanitizers and hand sanitizer available for use.

    • We are not currently going into jails or other detention facilities to conduct assessments at this time.

    • More information about assessments can be found under the "Services" tab on this website.

Other Information

We are in our offices less often as a result of COVID-19. Therefore, our preferred communication is via phone or email, as opposed to U.S. Mail or fax.

We require an appointment for in-person appointments at our offices.

We conduct trainings/presentations on a regular basis. Please see "Services" tab (see "Speaking Engagements") for more information about the types of trainings and presentations we provide. At this time, we continue to offer trainings/presentations virtually, upon request.
