Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA)
ATSA is an international organization of more than 3,000 members with reaches in approximately 20 countries. ATSA is the professional organization that sets the standards and practice guidelines for providers who provided treatment to and who assess individuals who have sexually abused. It also produces a code of ethics for these providers, which providers are obliged to follow as ATSA members. ATSA publishes Sexual Abuse which is a peer-reviewed journal about our field of work. ATSA hosts a large annual conference each fall. ATSA's mission is to make society safer by preventing sexual abuse.
Katherine and Marie about both ATSA members and have attended the ATSA conference three times since founding Skipped Parts, LLC.
MN Chapter of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (MnATSA)
MnATSA is Minnesota's local chapter of ATSA.
Katherine and Marie are both MnATSA members. MnATSA hosts an annual conference each spring, during which time Skipped Parts, LLC is among the exhibitors and Katherine and Marie have regularly presented workshops at the conference. Katherine and Marie have both served on the MnATSA Board of Directors. Marie served a term from 2019-2022 and Katherine served a term from 2020-2023.
